Weezer (ft. Lil’ Wayne) - Can’t Stop Partying

I love Weezer. I do. That being said, each of their new albums disappoint me just a little bit more then the last. Think back to the Blue Album, oh yeah, the Blue Album. It was jam packed with tracks that you could sing and dance along to, it was an amazing record. Then there was Pinkerton. Most people say that Pinkerton was Weezer’s best album, and I find it hard to disagree with that. It was another album packed with great songs and catchy tunes. But after that, atleast to me, it was kind of a slow downward journey.

But again, I love Weezer, no matter how many ridiculous songs they make. Beverly Hills being the first song that pops into my mind. But they make up for it, because they stick to what they do best. They make silly songs, they make meaningful songs. It just seems like lately, they’ve been running with silly. And, can you get a crazier mashup then Weezer and Lil Wayne? I don’t think it gets much better than that. There was a time when just about every song on the radio had some Lil Wayne in it, and I guess Weezer wanted a piece of that.
